uh6077
Wildcat said they "may" have one and it would be $150 plus shipping if they did. Ouch! Looks like when one shows up on eBay they bring about $50 so I will wait and hope one pops up soon.
NTX5467
It might be that if you ask for one for a Newport 383 2bbl, it'll be the same thing? I'll have to verify that, though. I suspect that as long as the radiator width is the same, as will be the with or without a/c spec, all of the C-body radiators and shrouds will be the same. That includes Plymouth Furys, Dodge Polaras, Chrysler Newports, and such. It's also possible that the same shroud for up to a '73 model year radiator will work, but might look a little different (if show judging issues might be important). Seems like the '66 shroud was metal and the later ones were plastic? As you mentioned "440", it might have evoked the "muscle car pricing" mentality? Therefore, if the 383 or 400 item is the same, then ask for the smaller "more common" motor spec and the price might decrease appropriately. Might ALSO check with Murray Parks in Tiffin, OH. He has an extensive Mopar salvage operation . . . and a website. Be sure to measure the width of the upper radiator tank and the width of the radiator core, to make sure you get the correct one. Just some thoughts,NTX5467
NTX5467
Suspicions confirmed! 1967 Chrysler 26" radiator fan core shroud PN 2785435 goes through the 1970 model year. Radiator width is important, not engine size (in the 1970 application, it's 318s through 440s, Plymouth Fury, Dodge Polara/Monaco, Chryslers except Imperial). For the same 1970 applicaition, but for 1971 models of C-body cars, it's PN 3443522. You can go to www.mymopar.com and download the 1967 (and other model years) catalogs. Finding them on the website might be a trick, but when you find one, all of the ones they have are all there. NTX5467
