You probably know the Forum on www.forwardlook.net ,

which focuses on Chrysler Corporation's Virgil Exner-styled

cars, but I mention it just in case.

 

Those cars have great styling, though I understand that

fewer than usual have survived due to their terrible tendency

to rust when they were daily drivers.

Good luck on your search.  I've only seen two other 2 door hardtops since my dad bought this one new.  Never see a convertible, the story is that only 5 or 6 '61's were built and they all went to MGM.  If you find one, I may have some spare parts.  Mine is not for sale.

Here's a 2 door for sale on ebay in Australia. I know that's nowhere near where you are but given the rarity of these cars, I thought I'd let you know just in case. Looks like you could restore this one.
