Guest LostBoy
I have changed rear end fluid on several vehicles before and was about to do the same on my 63 riv. Now i'm confused the filler plug was easy enough to locate but I can't find a drain plug and there is no rear cover. Do I need to Crack open the entire front housing or am I overlooking something. Seafoam65
If they didn't provide a drain plug, if I were you I would get a siphon pump and siphon out the oil through the fill hole then refill it with fresh oil.
Riviera63
Hi, I had my rear end fluid changed last summer and they had to use a siphon through the fill hole to remove the old fluid.
