bdas
can anyone tell me what the fans are for under the front seat. I also would like to know where the knob or button should be to make them work. Just in case I want to hook them up again. Thanks,b:o
1939_Buick
Will probably be a heater. Buicks had the same.
Marty Roth
They ARE your heater(s), and are activated when you move the switch at the lower portion of your dashboard. The fans are there to circulate the heat from the heater cores to which they are attached. Hot water is circulated from the engine to the cores via rubber hoses, just as in those which are conventionally mounted on a firewall. They provide heat to the posterior, as well as to the rear-seat passengers. Edited January 18, 2015 by Marty Roth (see edit history)
