Guest beeoh
about to install a cowl vent gasket on my 37 dodge sedan. there was no sign of an old gasket having been used for a few years so not sure how to install new one. does gasket fix to the top of the cowl or the underside of moveable vent? thanks

See the yellow line down in there. With the bead placed, I gently sat the rubber seal in position Next, to ensure it seals nice, I placed the cowl vent cover over the new seal and checked my gaps all around. Once satisfied with the position, I placed a little weight on it to allow it all to set nice and straight. all done! 34 minutes ago, Gary56 said: Where can I get a cowling vent gasket for my 1929 graham paige? I got all my rubber parts from Steele Rubber. Maybe some models will cross over for you Edited November 14, 2022 by Gary W (see edit history)
