Mark Wetherbee
I'm trying to help a friend ID this and have not found much on-line until the early 1930's Classic car items. this accessory tonneau shield has the frames made of wood with nickel-plated corners and hardware. it is complete and everything is sticky from thick grease, but loose & working. The height is 14.5" - the center is 33" wide and the wings are 15" each.Any help on ID or value is appreciated. edinmass
Looks like 1920's to me. Best guess is 1925 to 1927. Value? 300 to 700 off the top of my head.
Richard Lichtfel
Looks like 1920's to me. Best guess is 1925 to 1927. Value? 300 to 700 off the top of my head. These rear seat wind shields were available in 1914 & 1915. My 1917 Peerless has one. There was also a skirt that attached to the lower part of the center window to help protect the rear passengers from the wind.
Mark Wetherbee
This one has Patent dates ending in 1920.I thank you two for the information which I'll pass to the owner and let him decide what he wants done. He was planning on taking it to Hershey and pricing it $1250 on a whim, but was unable to make it due to personal issues in the family. This is usually not the kind of item found in a bunch of Model T parts...Thanks again,Mark
