Smartin
Does anyone know where I can locate wheel cylinders for a 35?
Pete Phillips
Adam,You've gotten me confused. A '35 should have mechanical brakes, so there should not be any wheel cylinders on it, unless someone has converted it to hydraulic brakes.Pete Phillips
Mark Simmons
Right on Pete '34 & '35 are mechanical, '36 was hydraulic. Don't know if the '36 system will go on to a '35 easily. I haven't tried that yet on my '34 but I was thinking about it.
Smartin
Interesting.I have a friend who is looking for these, and asked for help to locate them. It is a street rod, but is supposed to have the original suspension. I'll ask further questions. I believe he has said before that it is sitting on a Cadillac frame. That may make a difference? Smartin
So I received this email tonight...interesting.In the second half of the 1935 Buick production year, the Buick factory had a fire. 1935 Cadillac frames were used for the remainder of the year. Cadillac had hydraulic brakes, which were introduced in 1934.
