Guest
Hi Guys, Are there records of how many body styles of each model were originally built in '38? ie: how many Roadmaster Sport Sedans, how many Roadmaster Trunk Back Sedans, etc. Thanks, Greg
Larry Schramm
Here is a good place to start. Buick the Complete History. Has numbers in the back of the book. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=buick%20the%20complete%20history
1937-44
I think you will find that information is in the back of the BCA Membership Roster also. Carl
egor
Standard Catalog of Buick, Krause Publications, has all that and more. A worthwhile addition to your library. FYI, 4505 Roadmaster Trunkbacks, 466 Sport Sedans.
sean1997
The Standard Catalog of Buick is OK as a general reference, but it contains numerous errors in the details relating to engine and car serial numbers, engine production codes, and some production values. Most references contain errors, but it is always good to check additional references if you are using the Standard Catalog. Attached is a PDF with the complete 1938 production break down from my own files. 1938 Buick Production.pdf Edited April 28, 2018 by sean1997 New forum software killed all of the tables (see edit history)

Guest
Interesting there was no convertible offered on the Roadmaster or Limited platforms. I didn't know that.

sean1997
The table is for US built cars only, Canadian production would be in addition to that listed.
