v12lincoln Posted February 17, 2014 Share Posted February 17, 2014 (edited) Sorry should read 273 engine.I have been looking for a bolt on replacement intake for my 32 60 series 273 engine and want to go with a down draft because it is hard to find good updraft carb housings. Tired of all the gas leaking out of my carb on the exhaust pipe.I found a single 2bbl 320 intake manifold just need to know if it will work???Anyone here try it yet? if you are running a downdraft setup what did you use??? v12lincoln Posted February 20, 2014 Author Share Posted February 20, 2014 Measured mine on my 273 and it is 25 1/2" from end to end from outside the mounting ears, The 320 is 3 1/4" longer. If I cant find something close I will flip mine like Mark Shaw says but while its off I will make pattern so I can make an aluminum 2x2 or 3x2 intake for it.
