LINC400
A recent post about painting a Ford logo on a Ford truck really has me wondering about this. http://editorial.autos.msn.com/blogs/post--equus-bass-770-the-dollar250000-restomod?ocid=ansauto11If people are worried about Ford suing because of painting a Ford logo on a Ford, why isn't Ford suing for what is obviously a rip off of the Mustang's styling (just with a bizarre Australian looking front end)? And Hyundai already has the Equus name.
Dave Mellor NJ
I agree that Ford should put a stop to this thinly veiled copy. The name "Bass 770" even seems like a take off of "Boss 302 or 429". I don't know why somebody wouldn't just start a new design with all the investment involved. Studemax
The car is supposed to be a blend of Bowtie, Ford, and Mopar's best.I say put it down simply because it's hideous.

And Hyundai already has the Equus name.If this company had actually built these bodies themselves, Ford may have taken action. However, since they are Dynacorn bodies, Dynacorn has already paid Ford a sizable licensing fee. So Ford's "tax" has already been paid on each body. If you built one of these Dynacorn bodies into a factory looking Mustang you would be able to put the Ford and Mustang emblems all over it.
