Thought it 1931, the model can't determine. I have big problems with the order set of gaskets and compression rings. This car used an engine that is specific for ONLY that year and model, so your parts supplier has to really know his stuff to supply the correct parts. In their set two compression rings by piston on my piston three compression rings. Perhaps motor changed. Is this the right engine? paul55 Posted November 12, 2013 Share Posted November 12, 2013 To determine engine number, go to www.pierce-arrow.org and at bottom of menu on left hand side under tools, select identification guide. Next, enter VIN number and click on identify. Scroll down and you will see photo with zoom option showing detail of engine number which is on right hand side of engine. trimacar Posted March 9, 2014 Share Posted March 9, 2014 Original Wiring is a little different on these cars, wire is run in flexible steel conduit, with enclosed junction boxes here and there.... I don't know anyone replicating that original style, but any of the wiring guys in the US could make a woven harness...haven't bought a harness for a while but Narragansett, Y&Z, Rhode Island are some of the names I remember....I'm sure someone else will chime in...
