'72 LeSabre
What other year 320 motors would fit in a 1937 Roadmaster? Did the mounting location change in 1948? I have a chance to pick up a spare block and want to make sure it will fit ok.Where is a listing of the engine serial #'s by year? Thanks Edited October 6, 2013 by '72 LeSabre (see edit history)
jvelde
If you go to Team Buick web site and register (free), then go to Reference and Engine Identification (by the numbers), there is a chart that shows starting engine numbers by year and Series. I tried to copy and paste but the grid wouldn't translate clearly (scrambled). Good luck.
jenz38
Maybe its the same like at the 248th. Here a newer Engine with the Sidemounts is with no Problems to swap into an older Car with Frontmounts, because you can easy change the old frontmount type Engineplate to the newer Engine. Old Engines in "new" Cars will not fit.
