  1. It was a beautiful weekend for a drive. Sorry Cchinn but......Go Wolfpack!
  2. Very sorry to hear about Bill. I had the good fortune of getting to know him on the Glidden Tour in Saratoga Springs. (He did a great job hosting it.) A nice, fun-loving guy who took the time to chat with people. Ashby
  3. Here is a pic of the same area on my unrestored 1947 76S. I don't believe that hole came from the factory.
  4. I'm working on my 1947 Roadmaster. There is a paint mark on the side of the clutch assembly. Could this be a color code for the factory assembly line? Just wondering. I far as I can tell, the car has not been restored or molested. Thanks, Ashby
  5. Hubert - thanks for the additional information. Broadstreet3 - I passed your phone number on to Larry. He'll give you a call. Thanks, Ashby
  6. Posting for a friend. Rebuilt Marvel carb. for 1926-1929 and 1930 model 50 & 60 Buicks. $250 For more information, contact Larry at 632-eight-two-zero-1404. Carb. is in Leland, NC. Thanks
  7. Can anyone recommend a good kit for this? I'm looking for one that will cover 1940's - 1970's GM cars. Everything I looked at online doesn't seem to cover any application older than the late 1980's.
  8. This 1931 Model 94 is so nice you get a picture of the front and back.
  9. I think I got a picture of most of the beautiful Buicks there. Enjoy! Ashby
  10. I appreciate everyone's input. Yes Marty, the car came with a radio, clock, and heater/defroster. I agree the ww's look better on the Roadmaster's, especially a nice car like Matt's convertible. I've got a set of ww's on my 1937 Roadmaster and they look great. My only issue with them is they started yellowing in less than 2 years. The car is stored inside. The tires were L's I got from U.T. (Not sure I can name the brand without getting moderated.) The 1947 is unrestored. The paint, chrome, interior, etc. are original. I plan to leave it this way. I was wondering if the ww's might be too bright on the car. That's why I'm considering blackwalls. Here it is. The dry rotted port-o-walls were on the car when I got it. Surprisingly the tubes hold air.
