Accelerator pedal grommet

Linkage is installed but the hole in the firewall is pretty big. I looked in the cars catalog but found no replacement. googled it and found a mustang grommet that looks useable. Any Ideas?

Thanks Matt: Those don"t look as close as the ford one. What do you use for your 54? My 54 was covered by the carpet so I don't remember what it looked like.

Mine still has the original. I might eventually need to replace it, but for now it is OK.

That is what I used on my '58 Century. Disconnected the gas pedal cotter pin and it slipped on,, perfectly. Took care of the squeak that the pedal rod made when rattling against the firewall. don't remember where I got it - on ebay somewhere - and it was not expensive.

Probably a lot of us have cracked ones that could use being replaced. Since this topic came up again, I was reading it and see that somehow I posted the wrong link in my earlier reply, so I am glad that the correct one got posted shortly after. Maybe I will buy a replacement one myself now that the topic came up here.
