I thought the same thing about the '36 Special. I went up there and looked at the cars on Sunday. Based on the condition, I don't think there were any steals among the restored cars. One of the unrestored cars sold for $200. I'd think the scrap value based on weight would be higher then that.

toooo..... late! That was yesterday here on the front side of the world.

There were some nice cars and trucks though. I have always like the early cabovers. A few were very tempting. I would make it into a pickup truck daily driver.

Also, I had never seen an early 30's Hudson coupe. I am going to keep my eye out for one. At the auction it when for $17,000.

Dwight, the Hudson sold for $27,000, plus the buyers commission. It was probably the niced car there.
