MochetVelo
Anyone know where I can get a photocopy or scan of the manual for a Weaver Model E Tire Changer? This model was introduced around 1924. Thanks!Phil

keiser31
ll, I just talked with the owner of the machine and he said he got it from the original owner's son, but never got a manual with it. Sorry.
MochetVelo
Your friend has a nice one. I think it has the green original paint. These tire changers were portable: "Comes mounted on a steady wood platform which makes bolting to the floor unnecessary," according to a 1924 Weaver ad in Motor Age. The operation looks pretty straight-forward. I'll try to figure it when I get it delivered. Thanks for your efforts!Phil

MochetVelo
That's a "tire spreader", and a rather elaborate one. It allowed inspection of and access to clincher tire interiors. Thanks again!Phil
