1937 Ford Fordor Survivor

Recommended Posts

I bought this 1937 Ford last year. It had not run since 1990. Finally got it going after new engine wiring, spark plugs, distributor, coil, battery, fan belt, hoses; dropped tthe fuel tank and cleaned it out. Put some MMO down the cylinders. Started on the first try. Here are some photos. Currently rewiring the entire car and replacing the intake and carb with the correct 1937 units. Need some new tires. Have new muffler and exhaust parts. Almost ready for the season.

Installed a restored aluminum intake manifold, rebuilt Stromberg 97 carburetor, new fuel pump and fuel line, new radiator hoses and thermostats, fresh coolant and motor oil. Went for a couple rides. This car is running good. Still have a few issues, but glad I got it going.
