Guest dhmartin59 Posted March 19, 2013 Share Posted March 19, 2013 I'm in the process of getting started and restoring my father-in-law's. he's had the Buick since 1950 and has many of the original parts. the one part i'm in most need of is a radiator cap with the Buick 8 on it. any ideas, links or recommendations would be helpful. v12lincoln Posted March 25, 2013 Share Posted March 25, 2013 Good luck trying to find one that is in nice shape with no pits. I had mine stolen off my 32 a few weeks ago and no one is recasting them and I have not been able to find a real nice one like the one that was taken off my car since I started looking, Cant say I havent seen a good one but for 400 bucks I would spend a little more and get the Mercury or Caddy style that was used on these cars in 31/32. That nice one for 400 was gone the next time I looked. The guy from the 32 registry use to cast them but hasnt made any in a long time.
