nzcarnerd
No idea what it is but the brake drum and brake lever look to be from the 1920s or later. What is it powered by? Maybe it is a concoction from later years?
Jim Rohn
^tend to agreethe metal sub assy holding everything up makes me think this may have been done decades after the buggy was built (50's?)
nzcarnerd
Had another look at this. Is it actually powered?? The rear axle and frame rails look to be the original wooden items and there does not appear to be any sort of final drive. I think it might just have a later-era braking system?? Steve Moskowitz
I thought the same thing but after getting better pictures it appears to have been powered. I believe you are both right in that this is some type of "home built" vehicle.
caddyshack
I thought early Black or Holsman, but had to agree with above observations. There were lots of high wheelers in the early 1900's.
