whitewatersky
well.... i had a blow out on Sunday and the tyre is rooted.all 4 had better be replaced, as the tyre had perished and all might be on the way out.plus I dunno if i'll get a match, as Coopers aren't that popular here and if available, they are usually the 4x4 selection from my epxeriencejust wondering whether anyone can recommend a brand/style that can be sourced here in Australia.I'll go to the local tyre shops, but any hints would be appreciated as they may narrow the search.thanks
RivNut
Antique Tyres | Australias Largest Range of Veteran, Vintage, Classic & Hot Rod TyresI Googled "Vintage tyres Australia" and got a few hits. The one above sells the tire that I personally think is closest to what an OEM tire (spelled it correctly here!) should look like. This link is to an "American Classic" 215/75R15 with a 1.3" wsw.1521575 | Antique TyresEd
Yellowriv
Mastercraft do a narrow band whitewall 225x75x15 that are readily available, I have their 235s on my 65. They are good tyres and dont suffer from oil bleed into the whitewalls.
