RivNut
You remove the entire antenna from the fender by accessing it through a panel in the inner fender (turn your tires so you have more room to work) The smaller hex screws remove the panel, the larger screw holds the antenna to the panel. Reach up inside and remove the antenna lead from the antenna. If it's a power antenna, undo the power and ground wire at the terminal. Slide the entire antenna out through the opening in the inner fender. Once the antenna is out, you can reach up inside the fender and pull a spring clip off the antenna bezel. The bezel will then lift off the fender.
John
The spring clip holding the antenna bezel can be very stubborn to remove. Like Ed said , remove the antenna first. I prefer using channel-lock pliers on the spring clip. Anyway, have some bandaids ready just in case!John
rivi64
Does anyone have a source for the gasket between the antenna bezel and the fender? Ron
