studeq Posted June 28, 2012 Share Posted June 28, 2012 Studebaker did not make a Commander in the 1946 model year, only Champions. I may have the (Houdaille) rear shocks about which you inquired but you need to be sure of what car you have. Check the body plate on the firewall. If it starts with a 14A it is a '47 Commander.
