Guest Lacole Posted June 5, 2012 Share Posted June 5, 2012 hello,I'm new on the forum.I'm french, ROA menber and happy owner of a 65 Riv (under restoration, starting by the interior, carpet, seat ....)I'm starting to replace my headliner and I need some information how to remove the sail panel and the dome light.I have no iddea how to remove the sail panel, is there any need of a special tool.All help and pics to detail step by step removal is well come.Regards Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Patrick91914 Posted June 9, 2012 Share Posted June 9, 2012 1. Remove the courtesy light lens. Inside u will see a screw securing the assembly to the:eek::eek: panel. Remove the screw and the assembly can be taken out. Warning: the lens is delicate. Be lrepared to buy a new one.2. Im speaking.from memory. so, i maybe fuzzy on the details. The panel is held in place by several small clips which i think either pull out or slide forward so the panel.can be removed. If you screw up thepanel replacement are available from Clarks.
