1904 Oldsmobile Tires

We have a 1904 Oldsmobile Curved Dash replica built in 1958. It was the car displayed in Epcot’s Transportation exhibit in the World of Motion. We need to buy a tire for it and it is quite a challenge to find a replacement. The tires are Goodyear Nylon Studded Thread 26x2.125 Can you possibly suggest a supplier of this tire?<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

Have you tried Goodyear? maybe also try Coker tire.

That's a bicycle tire size, by the way, go to your local bicycle shop and they can probably fix you up, although it might not be the precise Goodyear tire you mention.............

I am afraid the bycycle shops do not have the same size in any make. Goodyear does not anymore, nor does Coker, Lucas, Universal, Diamond Back, Tire Rack. Sorry Larry, but I put my request in 3 different forums (technical, oldsmobile and general). Everyone does not see every forum, so I guess you are a member of all 3.

I just Googled your tire size and there are at least four different brands for that size of bicycle tire, to include white walls. Are yours something special?

It would help if you mightg put a picture of the tire, size on sidewall picture and the size put on the side of the tire. Would be more helpful so we would know what you are looking for.

Yeah, even i would suggest to post the pics of the old tyres and the actual size of it. So that it'll be easy for us to help you out.
