Dodgy6
A few more bits pulled from the bush. I don't know if they are off my DA - I'm thinking not.Two Wirespoke wheels - 18" daimeter and 4 1/2" across the rim. Goodyear tyres. They say - "DELUXE, ALL WEATHER HEAVY DUTY, 6 ply tyres. AUSTRALIA RD 9197". Anyone know anything about old tyres just for interest sake??Split rear axle housing. I've not seen this before, but vintage stuff has not been my thing until now. The arms have been cut and welded a bit to make a trailer I think.Tail shaft??? Also has been modified into a tractor towbar. Guest 1930
Wire wheels for DA would have a removable lock ring among other things and Fiske tires installed here originally, cant say if they used Fiske for export vehicles without looking into it

Pete K.
Yup, I have a '31 Ford Model A, Your rear axles have '35 Ford 16" wire wheels on it. Originally the '31 Ford had 19" rims. The emergency brake carrier is gone from the brake ass'y too. I still love to find elderly iron in the woods, but getting very scarce these days.
