Harold
I've got a 12-Volt battery that works fine except for electrolyte coming out around the perimeter of the positive terminal. Is there anything I can use to seal it?Any ideas appreciated.Harold

jpage
Most modern batteries should not leak unless there was undue stress placed on that terminal at one point. It may have been twisted or hit which could have caused it to come loose inside the battery. My suggestion is forget about trying to seal it and just replace it.
