avgwarhawk
The dash layout is very nice. I'm amazed at what was considered elegant in the dash from this era car to now. Just a neat car.

Just a neat car.I was amazed when I saw the details of the dash because it was as dark as the inside of a cow in the shop when I took the photo. I had no idea what the dash photo would reveal. I would have to say that it is one of the coolest I have ever seen.
avgwarhawk
It's designed like a piece of furniture detail you would find in the livingroom. I guess this is what designers felt would appeal to potential buyers. The same idea behind that goes on to this day. The car is really something. A restoration project? keiser31
Yes, it will be one of the next cars on the restoration agenda for my buddy. Right after his 1933 DeSoto coupe, I believe.

Guest prewar40
Restored this is really a beauty. I plan to bring one to Hershey this year. Attached are pictures of a 1929 Gardner roadster and the dash. Look for a red & buckskin roadster on the show field.
avgwarhawk
The dash, is that a bronze piece with gauges behind? It looks hand stamped?
Guest prewar40
Yes it is bronze but I don't know if it was hand stamped. Here's a better picture. If you can, check out the door sills whoever designed the dash did the door sills.
avgwarhawk
That is a gorgeous piece of work. I would say a press was used to create the patter. Just a guess.
