1955 322 .060 over?

Recommended Posts

It is my understanding that engines of that era could be bored 0.060 to 0.080 oversize. Of the nailheads I have heard that only the 425 might have issues past 0.040. Probably a question for your machine shop or Russel Martin.

I asked both of them this morning and they said there should be no problems. When you think about it, they are only taking .030 of material out of the block for a .060 over bore. I ordered them so I am commited now. Mud
