Mudbone
Does anyone think that .060 oversize pistons on the 322 is too much? I was told the .040 will not be available for a long time. They have .030 & .060 over. Mud
old-tank
MudIt is my understanding that engines of that era could be bored 0.060 to 0.080 oversize. Of the nailheads I have heard that only the 425 might have issues past 0.040. Probably a question for your machine shop or Russel Martin.Willie
Mudbone
I asked both of them this morning and they said there should be no problems. When you think about it, they are only taking .030 of material out of the block for a .060 over bore. I ordered them so I am commited now. old-tank
That will give you close to 332 cu in displacement.
