1916 Headlamp glass?

Guys,

Its flat that much I know but does anyone have info on the original type of lens? maker and number so I can start looking? If you have an original lens could you post a photo?

Roger,

The headlight lenses in the 1916 Buicks were clear, plain plate glass. The thickness is 1/8 inch. I know that sounds like a way too simple answer, but, the sales brochure that I have shows exactly just that. Any good glass shop can cut them for you. Hope this will help you out

I have a pair of original lights tucked away for my 1915 C-36 Roadster. They also are flat glass. The lenses that are in the headlamps on the car now are aftermarket, but are so unique that I decided to leave them in the car. Dandy Dave!
