Hi all, SalG keeping things under control while PeterG is at the annual meeting. We had about 20 for lunch at St. George's. Lunch was great, Ronbarn, BruceW,Ted, Ccar, and many more were at lunch. Peter is hard at work talking to many regions about setting up their sites. smile.gif" border="0tongue.gif" border="0 SalG

I got back from Philly at noon today. No traffic on Sunday morning so it only took 1 1/2 hrs. Peter got me straightened out as to why my log in wasn't working. My misteak. The meeting was great as usual. I did learn one thing though. If you have Italian blood in your veins don't sit in the front row at the auction and talk to anyone. You just may buy something you didn't intend to.

Di and I got home around noon today. We had a great time at the Annual Meeting ..as always. Eveything was bigger this year... attendance.. number of banners in the lobby...size of the Trade Show.... number of national awards winners, etc.
The only glitch I saw was that they ran out of doughnuts during Saturday morning coffee time wink.gif" border="0
It was great to see our AACA friends and meet new AACA friends.
A hearty Congratulations to Mike Jones and his committtee for puttting together another enjoyable and successful Annual Meeting!

We pulled into our driveway about 12:15 this afternoon. Everything is unpacked and I've already done two loads of wash. Now I'm on the DF. I must have a problem....
I've added a few pictures of St. Georges Restaurant to our website, for those of you who have never been there. I'll add the rest of our pictures tomorrow or Wednesday. (New camera, learning curve, some pictures less than stellar.)
Jan K.
Wis Region www.aaca.org/wisconsin
(click on Annual Meeting)
[ 02-18-2002: Message edited by: JanK ]

Pam & I got home about 3:30 PM on Sunday after our first Annual Meeting. We enjoyed the weekend and were glad to meet Bruce Wheeler, Jan & Vern Kamholtz, Peter G. (still not sure which of the several pronunciations of his last name is right), Terry Bond, Judy Edwards and, of course, "Father Ron". I would have posted sooner but I have come down with a cold, much like that "Father Ron" was suffering from last weekend!
I was very proud to receive my "Master Editor" award from Dave Drake and I only wish Pam would get a better feel for shooting our digital camera.
I hope it's possible for us to attend again next year! grin.gif" border="0

Good News for anyone who wants a complete rundown of what happened this year at the 66th AAACA Annual Meeting in Philadelphia. There is another "Mike Jones" who lives in Virginia and he was a Master Webmaster Award Winner. Please take a moment to visit his web site at: http://www.aaca.org/bullrun/
There will be a complete report prepared and posted with the next couple of weeks.
