CTX-SLPR Posted July 4, 2011 Share Posted July 4, 2011 It's a semi circular looking piece of plastic on the shifter mechanism itself. There are a pair of blade terminals on the switch, one is for reverse lights the other for the park/neutral safety. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
petelempert Posted July 5, 2011 Share Posted July 5, 2011 I had the same problem. Cleaned the switch out with some Q tips and alcohol. Pulled out enough lint, hair, crumbs and junk to make a bird nest. It's a little bit of a hassle to get the console out...but worth it once you get that thing cleaned up. Good luck.
