buick5563 Posted May 16, 2011 Share Posted May 16, 2011 Looks like a 322 since it has a harmonic balancer instead of a crankshaft pulley.The final number in the serial number will tell you which model it was put in originally. The serial number is stamped into the drivers side of the block, in the center, just below the head.Ya know, you will get faster answers if you post in the Buick Post War section of the forum. You need to look for the engine serial number which is located on a machined surface on the top outer edge of the left cylinder bank between the middle branches of the exhaust manifold.
