Shop Rat
"Kit Kittredge - An American Girl" from the American Girl series of dolls, books and movies. The movie is set in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1934 during The Great Depression. The nine-year-old boy and his five and a half-year-old sister I showed it on Saturday night enjoyed it very much. Some of the vehicles are stunningly restored and some are more of the everyday type. And there is a really nifty looking Mobile Library with glass sides that cover the books on the shelves. It is in several scenes. What I found interesting also is the strong similarities to what is going on now with foreclosures on homes and businesses. The father of the main charcter loses his car dealership. Kit Kittredge: An American Girl (2008) - Movie Info - Yahoo! Movies
Willys77
Hi Susan: I'll be watching for this movie to purchase! Watched a bit of the preview. Also Faith Granger's movie "Deuce of Spades was interesting! Can't say I'd let my 9 or 5 1//2 year old kids watch it though - "language" you know!
