alfourfire
Has anyone used this program to track their restorations? I have tried to get an unbiased review online, but I keep getting re-directed to the Collector Car Companion website.
Guest Jim_Edwards
Why don't you just download the trial version and make your own appraisal of whether it's useful to you? For general record keeping it's not all that difficult to create something crudely similar with a spreadsheet or database program. Or, you can buy a package of 8-1/2 X 11 manila envelopes from the nearest store with minimal office supplies and dump all records on a given car into it.Either way, it will take the discipline to maintain records. D Yaros
I was given a full working copy of this program to review for my newsletter. Quite frankly, I found it so hard to decipher, and so multifaceted as to be next to impossible to understand. So much so that I never even wrote the review. It just occupied space on my hard drive. In other words I did not find it intuitive or practical.
alfourfire
Thanks, I tried to contact them through their own help menu and it would not direct me to their listed site. (Perhaps a sign.) The trial version only allows 10 entries. I have more loose parts than that under the seat.

John_S_in_Penna
If a person is entering his information into a "cloud" based program, isn't he sharing his private information with others--a privacy concern? Why not just keep the program and the entered data self-contained on the buyer's own computer?
