Guest santa fe
Does anyone know where you can get rotors, disks, etc. for a 70 Riviera. Have a fella that wants to buy my Riv. but is nervous about rebuilding WHEN it does need brakes. Thanks in advance Jack
NTX5467
Looking in RockAuto Auto Parts for general information, the rotors and drums also fit fwd Toronados and Eldorados (although the Riv is rwd). The only year of Riv for these items might be for 1970, but the Olds and Cadillac applications go up to about model year 1977-78. Caliper repair kits fit LOTS of other GM vehicles. Same with brake pads and shoes (even ceramic brake pads).Raybestos was the only brand of rotos they listed, but that doesn't mean other brands might also have them.Enjoy!NTX5467
Larry Schramm
I would suggest the local Autozone as the first stop. Those cars had parts that were shared by many vehicles over decades.
JohnD1956
The 67-69 Rivs and Electras with disc brakes were the unique ones. 70 was a change over year and those parts should be readily available.
