padgett Posted February 4, 2011 Share Posted February 4, 2011 The underhood area often traps hot air and is why cold air intakes are popular. Hood vents remove the air and add to the air flowing over the top as well.Adding vents is illegal in some stock racing classes so you know they have to be good.
