nifty 6 Posted August 9, 2010 Share Posted August 9, 2010 I have a 56 Olds, some years ago I bought a Autronic Eye that is for a 55 Olds. I was hoping it would fit but I am not sure it would. Would like to know before drilling the dash etc. I figured if it did not fit I could re sell it and get more than what I paid for it. The 53-56 Olds dashes are similar enough that the 1955 unit SHOULD work, but knowing GM/Olds, there's probably enough difference that it won't. John O can probably tell you for sure.
