Identification help

Hmmmm.....I wonder if any of you out there can identify this car for me? The picture is of my mother in the backseat at age 6, or so, of a car we can't identify. The pic was taken around 1926 or 1927 and the car was a used car at the time.

Sure would be a rare car if it is a Croxton-Keeton.

The wire wheels look like McCue. They were only on the market for the 1913 model year before being bought out redesigned and renamed Houk.

I agree with the Renault i.d.. That radiator (behind the hood) is the key. They were shaped like a Packard radiator shell for quite a few years.

I believe it is a 1913 Keeton. The Croxton-Keeton was only built in 09 and 10. It looks too new to be a Croxton. It seems to match the Keeton shown on page 346 of the "New Encyclopedia of Motor Cars".

You are correct Tinindian, I have done more research and found, to my satisfaction, that it is a 1913 Keeton. Thanks for your help.....wayne
