Paul Dobbin
See what GM introduced at the NY, NY Autorama in 1954, a GM film. I liked the Buick Wildcat the best.
Marty Roth
Hi Paul,My Dad took us to every New York City GM Motorama through 1959.; The rest of the family may have gone in later years, but I was off to college, living out of state.I remember a case where the public was able to activate a trip-hammer and the counter showed how many toimes the hammer hit the fiberglass fender section from the new Corvette. The Big-Band Stage Shows were amazing to an aspiring musician.I managed to sit in just about every car. Guest Dave Snyder
I have used this film plus about 40 still photos to conplete my painting "Motorama 1954". Extensive research went into creating this painting to make it as historically accurate as possible. The Wildcat II is also my favorite concept car. This and the other two Motorama paintings I have to date completed, "Motorama 1953" and "Motorama 1955" can be seen on my website, Car Art by David Snyder Car Art by David Snyder
