Phil Knapp
I've seen these accessory trim rings on some 1940 and 1941 Lincolns and would like to get a set for my 1941 Continental. Does anybody know of a source for these? Edited December 20, 2009 by Phil Knapp (see edit history)
peecher
Phil, try Sacramento Vintage Ford. They have the 4 rib and the smooth. Mac's also list them. Edited December 20, 2009 by peecher (see edit history)
Phil Knapp
Thanks for the info, DeeDennis Carpenter and Bob Drake also carry them. They're officially known as "INNER BEAUTY RINGS"It's no wonder that not many of these show up - they're NOT cheap! Phil Knapp
I've never seen these at any swap meet or on ebay. However, Bob Drake and Dennis Carpenter get $60 each for them.Mac's Auto wants something like $69 each.Sacramento Vintage Ford gets $55 each.Pretty steep!I just put a set of Firestone 700-16 tires on my original wheels which are somewhat scarred up and I thought these would hide the scratches.
