Vintman
Hi Folks,Photographed in Eastern Europe I believe. Has the type of bonnet used by Ford Taunus of mid-fifties but the central aperture reached the front edge of the bonnet. This has the full aperture in the bonnet. Any ideas please. <O:pRegards<O:p</O:p Vintmanwww.svvs.org

Vintman
Hi,We have still not cracked this one and have received some more photos. I have "photo repaired" the roof to give an idea of what it might have looked like. Surely somebody must have an idea. The car looks too good to be "home made".RegardsVinman (UK)
Fleek
The view from the back appears it might have been a rear engine car. The rear fenders look similar to a early 60's Renault, but not exact. Maybe something French? Just a guess to get things going.
Vintman
Hi,Thanks your thoughts. The chap in Serbia, who generally restores American cars, has had these photos sent to him and has subsequently advised that it could have been built on a Volkswagen chassis of cca 1952 1132 cc, rear engined. I have found nothing like it as Volkswagen, and like you, have thought French including Simca, Renault, and other rears such as Fiat, BMW, various East Europeans etc, but nothing. Very frustrating.RegardsVintman

Juha Paavo Kaita
Hi!How about East Germany like AWZ P70 "Zwickau". There is some similarity on the body to this tiny 2-stroke engine car. Could it be a bit customised?JuhaTurku, Finland
Fleek
Interesting to compare the front to the Gatso sports car. Built in Amsterdam with mostly Ford parts. Edited January 10, 2010 by Fleek (see edit history)
