C. Douglas Johnson Jr.
I inherited my dads 1938 Lincoln Zephyr coupe that has most of the wiring removed. Who has a good wiring schematic for this car?
West Peterson
I believe Narragansett in Rhode Island specializes in V12 Lincoln wiring.

C. Douglas Johnson Jr.
As I get deeper I get more confused. The new harness has what appears to be blinker set ups and the old harness does not. The steering column does not have any blinker controls . When did blinkers come about on the L/Z? West Peterson
I understood you. I think these companies would also send you the schematic. Many, many, many people set their cars up with blinkers, even though they didn't come originally that way. I highly suggest you do the same. You can obtain a switch set-up to either mount on your column, or under the dash.
DizzyDale
Hey JR.,Sounds like you either have the wrong year harness OR maybe the correct harness modified to accomodate directionals.A very common option when building a harness.I believe '41 was first year for directionals on a Ford so i would think Lincoln would be the same.I prefer to signal with my arm but alot of youngsters think you are wavin at em.diz Edited December 13, 2009 by DizzyDale (see edit history)

C. Douglas Johnson Jr.
Narraganset was helpful and is sending a schematic and other parts I need. When wiring the gauges I cannot tell which post should be the power and which should be the appropriate wire. No markings are on the cardboard as to power. Any help would be appreciated. Making good progress and thanks for the earlier help.
