The Old Guy
The greases of today are far superior to what was available in 39. Any good 80-140 grease will do the job well

Barney Eaton
I added 90 wt to the steering box on my 1939 before reading the manual. It tends to leak out, I have stepped up to 140 and it is not as bad but still drips. Will I need to go to chassis grease?
Guest Grant Magrath
In New Zealand, we get BP Semi Fluid Grease. Works like a charm in the steering box!CheersGrant
