Guest austincar6
<HR SIZE=1><!-- google_ad_section_start -->I did a authentication project on a 1915 Buick model C36.(Photos of it are below) This was one of things we get to do a McPherson. Anyways, My question is, is this the right diff. that is under this car? . Thanks,AustinCar6<!-- google_ad_section_end -->
Guest Roger_Roy
...no expert on the '15 but that looks to be a Buick diff ass. if it had been changed Id expect non matching wheels or at least the wrong hub (grease) cap. Looks like a nice original car, any more photos?Roger

1939_Buick
More on the other thread http://forums.aaca.org/f170/what-kind-diff-266577.html#post674212Double posting does get more information, as not every one reads all threadsWe have found that it is an early 1915. The chassis number is 106023, which seem to prove its year.
Mark Shaw
Mostly it looks right, but I have never seen a sheet metal box around the engine before.... I can send photos of my 1915 C25 if you like....
pepcak
That metal sheet box is probably an early attempt for "triple sealed engine" before Buick introduced it :-) From the picture looks quite well made so anyone really cared about his valvetrain :-)
