Terry Bond
Antique cars have been on calendars since the beginning. My collection of auto art includes a variety of early calendars with cars illustrated on them. Not all of them were ads for service stations or repair shops. The top calendar is from 1910. Note the inscription "Speedwell" on the car top. Th e fold-down calendar is on the windshield. Second item is actually a small brass stand-up frame holding a calendar. Last item is a print from a calendar that advertises a garage in New York. Was curious-what's the oldest calendar out there depicting an automobile?Terry
