keiser31
Want to buy a 1935 Mercedes 500K engine to put into a convertible coupe restoration. Would like it to be as original as is possible. Would prefer finding one near or in Michigan, but at this point I cannot be picky. Please contact me via this forum, email me at keiser31@charter.net or call me at (541)535-1890.Thanks, John

keiser31
All I know is that it was in the area just west of Detroit, Michigan when my friend owned it. Don't know where it is now. I will ask.

alsancle
I'm pretty sure this the 540k that is being "mildly" customized for the Detroit autorama.

alsancle
I'm just guessing but since your friends car was minus an engine and the one being customized now has a late model engine it makes sense.
