Guest Drake
OK, I give up. Trying to remove the defroster grille following the FSM instructions (Gently pull grille straight up to remove). HA! Won't budge even with medium pressure applied. I'm afraid it will come out in pieces, if I pry any harder. If someone has the super secret method of removal, I would surely appreciate the help.Thanks. Guest Drake
Thanks Ronnie, I had your information prior to Posting. Will that same removal tool remove the defroster Grille also? I thought it was just for the top dashboard panel.
DAVES89
The defroster panel is hed in place by 3 torx screws or friction. If it is friction you must pry that up. The tool described in the post on Ronnies site will not remove the defroster grill.
Guest Drake
Thanks Dave, that's what I thought. Once I get the D#@&m grille off, I can get the screws out & dash panel removed.
DAVES89
I was not clear. I used panel incorrectly. The grill is held in place by either friction or 3 torx screws. The dash panel is held in by clips that you must use the pull tool desribed in Ronnies site to pull straight up with. Sorry for any confusion.
