JFranklin
Maybe it's time to put your wife on a quest to find the elusive mounts. Maybe she could view it as a puzzle challenge!
rocketraider
You may have to get the originals refurbished/revulcanized. Steele Rubber in NC offers that service. www.steelerubber.comOnce you're in the site, go to "shop online", search for 1936 Oldsmobile and you'll get a list of what they have for the car. It will also spell out what you need to do for revulcanizing service, and they do the 1936 Olds motor and trans mounts. Not cheap, but the service is offered, and odds are an NOS piece would be dryrotted and fall apart. Ask Oldsfan about that. Now, if she's complaining because she's not getting to ride/drive/enjoy the car is one thing. If complaining about it just sitting and needs to go, that's another story entirely!
