detective
I could use some help identifying two automobiles. The pictures were taken between 1937 and 1938. Any help would be appreciated. Dave Henderson
Almost has to be a 1939 Mopar. The the mouldings around the wheel openings were prevalent '37 thru '39, but separate headlights which this car doesn't have only went thru '38. Can't reconcile that hood side trim. Possibly was a Canadian variation, if such were made, or, perhaps a low end '39 that was not often photoed. I say low end because I see only a driver's side windshield wiper, but then the photo is fuzzy.
Oldsfan
I spend most of today on this one: (Little bit larger picture). It drove me nuts that I couldn't identity it, and I'm not even a Mopar guy!I finally ended up Googling 1939 Canadian Dodge, which took me to this page:http://www.autogallery.org.ru/dd1939.htmThere is a link at the bottom that says 1939 Canada. It shows this picture: Looks like a match to me. Had the beaded fender that the US Dodges didn't have. Has the hood side trim and Dodge emblem toward the front.Paul

detective
Given that these are 1939 models, could the picture have been taken in 1938? Do you know when the models came out?
