Quite impressive, I've heard of Kilo-cycle before. There's been several electric cars built for Bonneville too.

It is amazing, I often think I would like to build my own car nearly from scratch sith just a donor body like this guy did. I wouldl like to know how to contact this guy and give him the credit he deserves

There was a yellow Model A Ford at a show in San Diego that was set up the same way as the Datsun. It, too was very fast.

Well one thing for sure is that these guys have more money than I do. I dont want to guess what those batteries cost.

Apart from the motor and batteries a key ingredient for a sucessful electric car is the switch which regulates the power from the batteries to vary the speed without wasting battery power in the form of heat. It must be very efficient with low voltage drop across the semiconductor switch while passing hundreds or thousands of amps.
